Noteworthy Appellate  Work:  

Lead defense counsel at trial and on appeal in ACL Technologies vs. Northbrook Insurance Company, 17 C.A.4th 1773, which established for the first time under California law the "temporal" component of the "sudden and accidental" pollution exclusion.

Family:

Kathleen (Casey) and I celebrated our thirtieth wedding anniversary in March 2009. Our family includes Thomas Patrick (one of my partners), Megan Maureen, who works with abused children and is herself the mother of eight year old twin boys and sons five and one years old, and Molly Maureen, a District Attorney for the County of Los Angeles and the mother of a daughter two years old, and a son 19 months old.
