After completing  his legal studies, Warren served in the U.S. Marine Corps, where he gained substantial courtroom experience in more than 300 jury and non-jury trials. Thereafter, he practiced law with a regional firm in Houston, and then returned to California, where from 1984 until 1988 he practiced law with his colleagues at Pat Long and Jack Williamson.

After many years as a named partner in an Orange County law firm, Warren rejoined his colleagues at Long Williamson & Delis in 2004. His very active trial and appellate practice emphasizes the representation of business entities, individuals and insurers in business, construction defect, products liability, personal injury and insurance coverage litigation.
